Elementary and Junior High Camp Out Sept. 10-16, 2015 Newsletter #6

It was an excellent weekend for the Elementary/Junior High Campout!

Perfect weather made the one hour hike up Mukshupuri a fun time with a great view as a reward! The kids were proud of the fact that it only took 30 minutes to come down!

Games like Manhunt, Romans and Christians, and Mafia were played along with having the traditional campfires and marshmallow roasts. Fun times and good memories!

We spent the time in Chapel on Friday praying for physical and spiritual needs in other countries like Chile, Singapore, Spain and the UK.

In church, we heard from Trip Lee in a video message about only putting our trust for eternal life in Jesus Christ.

In the Senior High Home Ec class students made bread and ground peanuts to make their own peanut butter. As I walked by the room, the bread sure smelled good as it was baking!

We have some “new tables” for the dining area behind the hostel.

The wood from the old tables is being sanded down and refinished.

Now the beauty of the wood grain shows through. They are also being strengthened so they will last many more years.

An example of Boarding fun – celebrating house parents’ birthdays! Ice

cream, waffles and Mrs. Brandt as Mr. Brandt’s present!

Praise and Prayer Requests:

Praise for so many ways we can have fun and celebrate each other!

Please keep Nancy and Jared in your prayers!
